next steps

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, there is always a next step in following Jesus.

Whether you’re exploring Madison Park Christian Church for the first time or have been part of our church family for a while, we want to help you continue growing in your relationship with the Lord and in connection with others.

Get To Know Madison Park Church

Starting Point is a relaxed conversation designed to help you learn more about who we are as a church, what we value, and how you can get connected. Many newcomers find this gathering especially helpful as they explore what it might look like to be part of the Madison Park Church community. Starting Point meets on the last Sunday of every month immediately following both services, and we’d love to have you join us.

Getting Connected

Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. One way we grow in faith is by building meaningful relationships with others who are pursuing Jesus, often through small groups where we gather around God’s Word, encourage one another, and share life together. Another important step is serving, as God has uniquely gifted each of us to participate in His mission and care for others. If you sense God prompting you toward a next step, Jacob Wiemelt would be glad to help you begin that conversation and find the right place to connect.

Foundations

Foundations is a three-week gathering designed to explore what we believe and how the Gospel transforms our lives. In our time together, you’ll learn about the core beliefs of Christianity, what it means to follow Jesus, and how we pursue life change together as a church. Foundations is a great next step after attending Starting Point and is offered regularly throughout the year. If you have questions about Foundations, feel free to reach out to Jacob Wiemelt.

Baptism

Christian baptism is the biblical response in which you declare your emphatic “yes” to Jesus, the saving King! In baptism, you are burying your sinful flesh with Jesus in His death and being raised with Jesus in new life, where you receive an eternal identity marked by the promised Holy Spirit. Your emphatic “yes” to Jesus in baptism is the next step in giving Jesus your ongoing “yeses” to the life you were designed and purposed for, now and for all eternity.
