Check-In Supervisor

Commitment approximately 90 minutes, one week a month, one year

Role Serve to check-in and out children, print nametags, and welcome new families. Also assist during worship hour with discipline issues, hall monitoring and child restroom breaks as needed.

Team Leader

Partners alongside early childhood director and teacher assistant to help facilitate weekly classroom experience.

Requirements -12 years of age or older -Volunteer application/background check -Orientation/training

Commitment Serve one hour, one week a month, for one year. Meet with other team leaders and early childhood director as needed. One year commitment.

Role The Team Leader works closely with the early childhood director on the monthly curriculum for their designated age group, helps to address issue that may arise with in early childhood, helps in the classrooms once a month and is willing to fill-in when available. Serves as a point person for the teacher assistants for their age group.

Lesson Teacher

Teaches the Bible story to preschoolers, and helps facilitate the worship time in the large group setting.

Commitment approximately one hour on Sunday for one month at a time. Rotating schedule. Weekly preparation for lesson.

Role Prepares for and communicates the weekly Bible story, to preschoolers in an engaging, creative way. Also, helps to lead children in a worship experience through music. Curriculum is provided.

Teacher Assistant

Role Teacher assistants facilitate the classroom activities. They implement the weekly curriculum (craft, snack, games, learning activities, etc.) while ensuring that the children are safe and cared for. Curriculum is provided.

Nursery Teacher

Commitment Serve one hour, one week a month, for one year. Review curriculum provided before serving.

Role Nursery Teacher facilitates classroom programming, i.e. lesson time, singing, snack, diaper changing, etc. All curriculum/supplies are provided. Nursery Teacher also helps to greet the toddlers when they arrive, filling out care cards to make sure we take proper care of the infants and toddlers.

Production Team Volunteer

Requirements Training from a tech leader on our equipment and a willingness to use Planning Center Online

Commitment Approximately once a month for 2-3 hours that includes rehearsal and Encounter service

Role The tech team runs audio, ProPresenter, video, lights, and other elements of programming during student Encounter services. We are also interested in volunteers skilled in shooting and/or editing video.

Junior High Sponsor

Sponsors serve as a part of a team, they are equipped, and have a responsibility to multiply disciples. It is important that you understand tween/teenage culture and have a genuine love and belief in this next generation.

Senior High Sponsor

The primary responsibility of an Echt sponsor is to facilitate life change for senior high students through our strategy of Encounter, Connect, and Serve.

Role Someone who is passionate and wired to help senior high students take their next steps in a relationship with Jesus. Sponsors serve as a part of a team, they are equipped, and have a responsibility to multiply disciples. It is important that you understand teenage culture and have a genuine love and belief in this next generation.

Worship Team – Band and Vocals

Commitment Approximately once a month for 2-3 hours that includes rehearsal and Encounter service

Role A worship team member needs to have a life that reflects a pursuit of worship 24/7. Character always trumps talent even though musical giftedness is essential. There is training and coaching available.
