Item of the Month
In July we are collecting backpacks and school supplies. Please pick up a bookmark with specific items needed from the Guest Center.
We will again be collecting supplies and backpacks to be handed out to Elementary and Junior High kids at the Back to School Fair on August 12, at First Baptist Church. Our goal is to fill at least 50 backpacks for children who will be entering second grade and at least 50 for Junior High. School supplies and backpacks will be collected July 1-31. Each bag is packed with the items listed below. If you have any questions, please call Andrea Eckhardt at 217.653.4534 or Claire Hummel at 217.740.2427.

Serve Each Other
God is at work among us which means lots of opportunity to jump in and serve within the congregation. Visit here to see how you can contribute to our various ministries. We are always looking for people to help us do what we’ve been called to accomplish.
You can look through the different areas of service here and let us know you’re ready to get plugged in!
Serve our Community
We have a great opportunity to make a difference through various community service opportunities. Featured here are events we know about, serve experiences we sponsor, and the item of the month which we are collecting.
Serve the World
It’s too insignificant an idea for a congregation to only serve itself or its community. God calls us to serve the world. You can learn which missions our congregation supports and discover opportunities to be personally involved in the larger mission of the church.
